I lack faith in religious people, ‘cause we are all hypocrites.
I, myself, find it slightly (just a wittle bit) blasphemous that I DON’T think that “such true / religious / good” individuals (without a single bad bone/nerve in their body) exist.
Other than for the Saints and figures in society who have given up everything, except for the clothing on their back, in the name of God…I don’t believe that teenagers ranging from the early to late 20s to middle-aged parents/adults/ to old shriveled elders are really as benevolent as their supposed-religious selves say they are. We are human…we aren’t GOOD. We are hypocrites. We are the most evil creatures on the planet.
I know many extremely religious folk…who have indecent thoughts.
The more religious you are…the more wary I am of you.
I trust religious people (the ones who believe in GOD…Protestant/Lutheran/Christian/Muslim/Catholic/Jewish/etc…) the LEAST.
I am religious (as in: I know that I am flawed and God exists), but I don’t need to organize an official proclamation in the town square. The ones who pronounce their religiousness in such a flamboyant manner make me scoff and choke on the future donut that will soon be in my mouth (bc I was daydreaming about one before writing this post).
But, only God can judge me. And only God can judge you.
Happy almost-Friday…1 final down, 6 more to go. I wish I was inebriated or something.
